THE LABOR ACTIVITYATTITUDE AMONG THE STUDENTYOUTH

Summary

We have studied the labor activity attitude of students based on sociological research. The attitude of students is different and depends on where they plan to work - at the home country or abroad.   For the most students who want to stay at home country, it is extremely important to have a job, and it does not matter in which sector they will work. Among those for whom it is important in which sector they will work, the number of students who want to work in the non - government sector is 8.7% less, those who want to work in the public sector and, respectively, by 4.9% who want to work in private companies. Among the criteria by which students will choose a job, career growth, employment by profession, and high salary were most frequently named. An analysis of the criteria from a gender point of view showed that female students are more career-oriented than male students. In addition, for females, it is more important to have a suitable job in the specialty than males. And the high pay and stable work are more important for males. Students seeking employment abroad, prefer to practice their professions, despite the fact that wages are one of the most important factors. There are 2.8 times more students who put their work in the specialty first, compared to those who prefer a high-paying job. At the same time, the demand for a high-paying job corresponds to a job where the normal working conditions will be protected, which is not important for students who want to work in the home country. Studies have shown a trend that the higher the salaries of students in their homeland, the higher their demand for the remuneration they will receive in emigration. In addition, the ratio of the desired remuneration abroad is much higher than the remuneration received at home. The difference between the salaries is about 30%. As it turned out, a significant proportion of students have a positive attitude towards the employment in the region, but only under the fulfillment of certain requirements. Among the requirements of first importance the highest percentage was made by the career advancement (78.6%). A significant proportion of young people agrees to work in any region if they have the prospect of career advancement.  In the second place with a high percentage was named  a high-paid job (69.1%), and in the third place - a stable job (65.9%). 16.8% of respondents already have a specific project for self-employment. They want to implement them in different areas. Most of them want to create jobs in tourism, education and services, while agriculture was not named at all.
